Just looked this up, every Naughty Dog game since the PS1 has scored an 80 or better on metacritic besides the Jak racing game that scored a 76. Uncharted 2 is the highest at 96.

I wouldn't really say it went downhill after the merger cause I liked everything they made for the PS2 and they also made the Dragon Quest series for handhelds which was great. But everything they did for the PS3 except for the HD remasters have been terrible.

Imo it was the change in CEO's around the time the PS3 came out that did it. He wanted to westernize the games instead of developing games the Japanese wanted. JRPG's is what Square excelled at and what people loved. The new CEO that took over last month said he wants the company to go back to it's roots and do what it was good at so maybe Square will start getting better.

Just give me a Remake of Final Fantasy VII in the awesome graphics of PS4 and do not change anything else about the game cause it was perfect the materia system, the story, The characters and boss fights. Come on do it Sony And Square Enix. You would sell a ton of them.

I feel the same way. Would be great to get a remake. I don't have shame say that game came really close to pulling a tear out of my eye. The story to me is still top 5 of all time.

modern is crappy paragon system or whatever it is. I want Turn based ATB like 7-X. X's battle system was fine because you could still plan ahead, and micromanaging (I'm OCD) was tolerable.

Having VI remade with the same battle system, but HD/3D graphics would be badass though. =)

So anyone change out the HDD in the PS4 yet? Is it as easy as they make it seem in videos and some places I have read about it. Cause that is the first thing I am doing when I get my PS4

Still on original hard drive. No need to swap yet. Will not swap until I need to, but yes it is easy just like it was easy in the PS3. DO NOT PUT IN A SSD. Get a hybrid SSD or a high RPM SATA drive.

Buy the car that you would most like to get beat in. The other guy will always be faster.

Is there a specific reason why not to put in an SSD other than price?

Same reason in a PS3. No TRIM support. Over time the SSD will degrade because of this.

Because there is no point. The reason behind using SSD's is speed. For consoles, the speed of the console is based on the speed of the blu-ray drive and other components and they are the bottle necks of the system. Using a SSD over the factory HD gains you 1-2 seconds on your loading times if you are playing disc based games and your read and write times if it is saved to the system. Considering a 500gb SSD costs about as much as the system does, there really is no point.

But even so, a quality SSD will still last longer than most people will keep their console for anyway.
