3.91 Gear strength?
Really want to go with some LPE 3.91 gears, though I've been hearing about the weakness of the SS rear diff. Is it worth paying the ~$800 bucks for the gears to be installed, or wait a few years and try to get a upgraded diff? Ultimate goal is to make ~650-700rwhp with an LSA.

Depends what you do with the car. If you love drag racing save your money. If it's a daily or Sunday driver do it if you want. But you really don't need more gear with 700hp.

3.91 would work nicely with your current mods, if you plan on modding further gear will start working against you as you add more power. First gear becomes useless then 2nd gear etc.
