Brake rotors

I'm looking for a good source for OEM style brake rotors and pads for my 2010 SS Camaro. I'm not looking for a performance upgrade. I just want to find rotors that don't rust and pads that wont turn my wheels black with brake dust..Any suggestions?

I’ve noticed posts that stated ceramic pads as more forgiving on brake dust. I believe Hawks brand has been mentioned.

I went with a set from R1 Concepts. Geomet coated rotors (should hopefully not rust) and a set of their ceramic pads.

They are a vendor here and offered a good deal for all 4 corners

To ultimately get no brake dust best bet is to revert to a bicycle, huge savings and don't have to worry about rotors rusting either!

So true and thanks for a Monday morning chuckle.
By the way, the new bicycle rotor/brake systems create some dust. Maybe a skate board.

^^^^ yea, that is always a good way to start Monday, with a smile!!! On the other note, I went with the AC Delco Professional semi metallic pads and OEM rotors when I did mine and the dust is really very minimal.

I put Granatellie slotted and drilled rotors with Hawk ceramic pads. Cut dust buy around 75%. And a great set up for running Watkins Glenn Road course.

I put Power Stop Z23 Evolution Sport pads on my 2010 SS. Minimal dust and only $100 all four wheels. Had my rotors powder coated (non-braking surface only) to prevent rust...NOT CHEAP! maybe multiple coats of some good Rustoleum would suffice?

For street driving only, blank rotors like Centric with ceramic pads are a good setup.
