Get it together GM

Look what is headed your way: https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/for...ASHTAG&__xts__

Fuller, better looking, a shifter, etc. Clean up that Silverado, or guess who will defect next??

Sending me your selfie isn't changing the situation. The silverado is pitiful, and it needs some bolstering.

Honestly, i'm kinda underwhelmed by this "new" model. They can afford to go somewhat conservative and they did IMO.

The generator and lay flat seats are gimmicks, and let's be honest, only usable for a small percentage of actual truck buyers going to and from CVS.

The exterior is evolutionary from doors back and a little GMC up front.

Now the twins interior, they're screwed on that I think until the next gen. The rumor is that they'll end up with the SUV interiors depending on trim. That's not enough but it is typical GM. Hope they prove me wrong.

Well perhaps I got a little carried away; But on the other hand I am sickened by the stagnant attitude at GM. I see the other makers being more bold in their creations. I hate to admit it, but the f150 pickup looks good! The exterior is bold and lust inducing, and the interior feels and looks like a luxury truck. Note the word truck; It feels like a truck because they still feature a shifter. Call it technology or what ever you want, but not having a shifter in a truck or sports themed car to me is a major element that is missing in a car.

I have been underwhelmed by the silverado's looks and unfortunately its competitors are attracting me. I would hate not getting a lsx, but if I were forced to get a truck today it would have to be a GMC or a Ford or a Ram. Sorry but it is as honest as I can be.

Pass.
Chevrolet moving manufacturing to china is game over for me.
I don't think they payed Uncle Sam the bailout (our tax dollars) back either.
Goodbye GM hello Toyota!

Agreed, his comment is hilarious. I'm in hopes that he is trolling. The Silverado and Sierra are both manufactured in Fort Wayne/Flint. On top of that, the GM Bailout Loan has been paid back for ~5 years.

Being totally honest almost all new features like that on any truck are gimmicks/for small percentages of people. It's a truck, as long as it does truck stuff that is what most truck buyers care about. the gimmick stuff is to swing buyers from other brands.

I remember thinking Quadrasteer on the Sierra Denali was the coolest thing ever when I was younger...that didn't last to long but I sure as hell wanted it lol

Again I commented from my frustration with Silverado, including the potential of losing its shifter. Not that the Silverado isn't a good truck (it is), but some things about it bother me enough to not consider it as a purchase.

The new Ford reminded me of the previous generation Chevy/GMC trucks in that it had full looking contours and generous amenities. GM still has IMO the best overall powertrain line-up of the other pick-ups. Let's see what they come up with.
