Red face Window adjustment??

So odd question. I recently noticed that my passenger side window , when opening the door , seems to go down further then it used too. It is defiantly lower then the driver side .The driver side seems to be at half inch gap. The passenger side is a good full inch. What would cause this to happen? The motor seems fine. It goes up and down fine . It closes and opens with the door fine , just a bigger gap. Did something break in the door that aligns or sets the adjustment?

A relearn may fix the issue. The owners manual should tell you the steps to take. If that doesn’t work then it’s going to need a closer exam. Others who have been down this road will chime in I’m sure.

THank you , I will give it a shot . Would it be the same thing if I disconnected - reconnected the connector at the door ?

I had the same problem, but I disconnected the terminal and reconnected it. Everything worked fine, maybe something got caught in the connector.

Sometimes with these problems you do have to disconnect the battery to cut the power to the BCM-(Body Control Module) to clear the issue, just disconnecting the connector won't do it because the BCM remembers certain things until cleared properly, just like the fuse pull for the fuel tables in the ECU... Good luck.
