Fuse 40/43 help

I have a hurst line loc on my 2012 SS and I have a 2 step rev limiter to launch from at the track. When at the track if I hold the button for 7 seconds and disable the nannies I can use the line loc for my burnout and foot brake the engine up to my set rpms on the 2 step for the launch. Sometimes I get a code to service stabilitrac after the burnout, in which case it’ll only let me rev up to 1000rpm whole foot braking and it launches very softly.

I tried pulling fuses 40 ad 43 and I don’t get the code for the stabilitrsc anymore and my abd and brake lights come on, but it still will not let me rev the rims higher than 1000rpm while foot braking while in drive at the line. Pressing the traction control button or holding it does nothing while the fuses are out.

If I put the fuses back it’ll let me rev higher so long as I hold the button to turn the nannies off and don’t throw a code while doing a burnout.

How to I make it so I can do a burnout with the line loc and still be able to footbrake it higher than 1000rpm while foot taking as pulling the fuses will not let me rev it up while in drive?

This is my dash when I pull the fuses, the other 2 traction control lights don’t come on when I pull them and pressing or holding the traction control button doesn’t do anything

Is your converter stock? Sounds like you’re at the stall point and it’s trying to engage.

It’s not the stall, when I don’t throw the code I can rev it up to 1700 on the 2 step no problem, after I hold the button to disable the nannies

I think I may have figured out what it is, my tuner turned off the torque management at the shifts but in hp tuners I’m seeing under torque management a section called “brake torque management” with 2 items listed under it, the first one says “disable by TCS” which is set to enabled, the description says “if enabled, brake torque management may be disabled by Traction Control events”.

The second item is “brake torque limit” which says “Maximum torque limit when brakes are applied to prevent engine overpowering vehicle brakes” all the cells in the table for all throttle positions and manifold vacuum is set to 150ft lbs.

I’m guessing when you disable the nannies with the button it disables the brake torque management, but when you throw a code or pull the fuses it doesn’t seem to disable it. I think I’m gonna try changing all the values in the cells to 6,042 ft-lb which is the maximum value (same as my max torque in the rpm vs gear table.

I’m assuming if I make that change in the tune and pull the fuses at the track it’ll keep me from getting the code while still allowing me to rev it up while foot braking it.
