Anyone Else?

I've always enjoyed going out to my garage, turning on some good music and just tinkering around for hours at a time. Tonight when I went out there and looked around, it hit me; for me, my garage is my sanctuary, my 'happy place' so to speak. It really doesn't matter what's going on in the world around me at the time, all I need to do is walk into my garage and see my vehicles. Within seconds, everything else melts away, I get a big smile on my face, start feeling great and thinking about the next road trip or mod I want to do .. Have a great weekend

Man, I wish. I had to convert my 2 car garage into 2 bedrooms. They came out awesome though.

Problem is, I am in the middle of an engine swap and have 2 LS engines, an engine stand, engine hoist, front bumper, compressor, hood, and tool chest in my living room.

I want my garage back!!!

Your officially my hero. If you have a significant other she is DEFINITELY a keeper!
The shop is certainly my happy place as well even a bad day working on my Camaro or my old trucks is better than any day at work for sure.

Welker2 you are not alone. I spend most of my day doing that very thing. The world fades away and it's just me, "Christine" and the music.

Yep I also agree. It’s one of the few places that, no matter what happened that day, I can relax and clear my mind.

And I think we can all agree that no matter what your garage setup is, it can ALWAYS be bigger.

I appreciate that man. Yeah, I got a great and patient woman that puts up with all this mess. She actually bought the LS3 for me when I broke the L99. She may have zero interest in my hobby, but she knows what this all means to me.

One day I will have another garage. I dream of a standalone 2/3 car workshop with a lift. Someday hopefully.

This.
My cave is 40x60 with a separate 20x40 living area and never big enough. Thinking about building another one since wife doesn't really want me booting her car out into the Kansas weather
Defiantly my happy place though! Second only to being behind the wheel

I’ve got a non identical twin to the red and white cooler on the bench, mines blue and white and I’m sure from the 80’s at a minimum.
