2010 brakes rotors and pads question
I am sorry I know this topic has been beat to death. But I have scrolled and scrolled and can't seem to find an answer that's quite fills what I'm asking. I have a 2010 ss with the brembos. I know it was an early model. I bought it with 76k, (car is now at 104k) miles and don't know if the brakes on it are stock or not. They are drilled and slotted so I don't think they are. They have some vibration but otherwise work good. But my question is when I go to replace these. I am looking for a lighter weight option maybe a 2 piece rotor if I can and a pad that will be good for very aggressive driving (that of drag racing and or road coarse driving) I am saving to add some serious speed to the car hopefully and I want to get something with the stopping power that can hopefully still utilize the brembos brakes. I don't care about noise or dust. But I do drive the car regularly and want something that will work on the street and on the track(but again. I don't care about noise or dust, just braking power. Hot or cold). Please let me know if you have experience with anything that will fill that need. I am mainly looking for peoples experiences with what they have bought. Thank you
