I have been following this thread closely, you have inspired me and my friend to build our own garage to store our cars for the winter. He has a new 5.0 Mustang and I'm running a 2SS 2010 CGM. I love what you did with the outside of the garage and what your doing on the inside.
Thank you! P.S. How much did the roofing end up costing you, because we figure that and getting the automatic doors will cost the most. |

Glad you have enjoyed watching the thread & I hope your build goes well too. I don't know that the costs were broken down in that much detail by our builder. He just got the same shingles as our house has (it got a new roof not long ago). I would advise getting the wide doors. You will have to do a thread too. I may need some of your ideas. We will be doing the inside ourselves so things will slow down a good bit now. I just wish they would hurry up & get the driveway poured so we can start putting our babies in there.

Looks great! I'm diggin' the neon kit.
You'll find that with the wood exposed and not painted, it's going to absorb the light until something is in there to reflect it. When you get the corkboard up, I suggest painting it white. It will brighten it up in there!

That is the plan. We were going to buy the white pegboard but it cost so much more that we figured it would be cheeper to buy the brown & paint it ourselves.

Heck I think it will be more like his main house. LOL It already almost is. He is still out there now. It might be more of a punishment if I stayed out there all the time too.

OMG your not old and yes, very easy. It last a very long time to. Definatly let it cure longer than the directions say cause the tires will leave a mark on it. Kinda like you drove through oil. But it is so worth it when you change your oil and the oil stay can be wiped away or if you drop some antifreeze on it. Just wipe or rinse away.
It is even Poop safe in case you leave the dogs in the garage.

I'm older than you think. We will do some sort of floor covering. We just have to do one thing at a time. We will look into it.

Thank you and Thank you again. The neighborhood is quiet, small homes, good people, and nothing fancy at all but we like it.
