I hope you primed and painted the edges where you cut the opening....I have repaired a lot of rust blisters from people cutting in windows in custom vans and such ...that didn't treat the bare metal.But it will take 2-4 years. To show any signs...buy then it's the next guys problem !!!!

Love the look - they are an excellent visual compliment to the hood.
I wonder how they would look painted the same color as the hood extractor...? |

I'm sure they could be made "functional" if you were to cut up the wheel well liner. But then you'd also be throwing stuff off the tires right into/through these vents onto the side of the car.

they're mainly just for looks. the factory aerodynamics should be unchanged.
