I was hoping someone would know the size the bleeder valve is on the V6 Camaro. I'm thinking 10 or 11mm most likely.

Or just give me a good idea where to look, and I'll check it myself.

Thanks in advance-

Should be right there under the car on the drivers side of the trans. be careful its a plastic/nylon line it breaks easily. not sure the size i'm usually pumping the pedal while dad bleeds it.

Just got mine on tonight along with the gto reservoir. I got through everything except for bleeding the clutch. I didn't have an 8mm wrench and the socket I had was too shallow. I think I may have to get a cheap set of offset metric wrenches to get it bled. What has everyone else used to open the bleeder for an SS?

Have you had anyone say that this didn't help with the grinding. Also how much does it cost.

thank you very much for going through the trouble to find a cure for this problem and sharing it with the rest of us. i installed mine last night and the install was rather easy the hardest part for me was bleeding i have very large hands and fat fingers. i told my wife this is the best upgrade to my car so far and i feel i finally have the car i thought i was buying. on my ride home last night it was the first time i was able to really grab a good solid second gear, not to mention the pedal and all other shifts feel much smoother. thanks again

You guys are gonna make me buy one of these.... i have been thinking for months now that me missing 2nd gear at the strip 3-4 times out of 11-12 passes was all my fault. I think I'll be ordering one soon. What's the price?

I finally got mine in and bled and it shifts 100% better. Even when cold, the trans shifts smooth as can be.

So I got my clutch fluid replaced, I think I have 25000 Km since I did IDEALG's master cylinder fix, still working properly. I had close to 50K when i did it now I am at 73K.

For those that have not tried it yet, you don't know what you are missing. This cured my second gear grind . Thanks IDEALG.

It's a 9mm bleeder on the V6- and I'll be sure to get 2 hands on it to avoid a fracture!

Thanks for the help locating it .
