Just have to make sure you are on the correct side for the GoPro camera to catch you. Mostly will be racing my wife though since we should have her Lower Control Arms by then and she wants to switch cars to see if I can get a correct launch on hers.
Sweet, well I'm always up for racing a mustang too.

There's a little black Cobalt SS coming too.... Here's some pics! Maybe we can record a race with it against mustang/camaro! It's 24 psi E85 tune 340+ whp. Lol. But he may be traction limited ?

Here's it running Thunder Valley pre-E85 tune(and few other mods) on 100 degree hot summer oklahoma afternoon! That's a bolt on Mazdaspeed3! He didn't miss a single shift... and his time shows just how bad this track can be.

Just remember that the "R" on your shifter is the Racing Gear.

Yeah and just remember "S" on your shifter is the slow gear.

You may get me off the line but past the 1/8 mile guaranteed I'll start reeling or pulling away. I have raced that 2010 blue mustang gt from a dig(Aggressive tune w/exhaust).... He ran 13.4 @ 103-104 on current setup(14.0 @ 100 when he was stock) at Thunder valley, yet he still isn't faster then me past 60 mph. I'll just keep it at that.

Mustang or camaro versus that AP1 would be a good race as well.

I'm hoping to trap near 100 mph this time in the cooler weather. I just hate when the track gets busy and you sit there in the lanes waiting and waiting, just heat soaking your car. Me and my wife have to get quite a few runs in against each other for our betting though.

teaser... Accord does 0-100 mph in 13.1 seconds(well okay, the vid was taken when I was at 228 whp, now I'm at 243 whp)... Hard to gauge, but we can always bench race!

^Only backs up the results of me and my friend's 3v races. Dead even lol... So in conclusion. 13.8-14.2 @ 101-102 are my predictions lol. .

My goal is to break 100's.... Want to break 13's but considering the track we are going to, probably won't be the case. Okay, it's all good! Full bolt on civic si with hondata flashpro is coming too... He makes 210 whp in 2700 lb car. Doesn't sound like much but he ran 14.4 @ 99. It's pretty quick for what it is. Runs about what our 3 cars do.

You're screwed now, I washed, clayed, polished, sealed and waxed my car. I should easily be able to run 11's now since its so slick

Weather is looking like 40% chance of rain though on Sunday, see what the weather man says on Friday.

Darn, I organized a facebook event page and 20+ people are expected to come the 10th. :( At least it's a week away, and most likely to change by then.

Weather channel says 10% chance of rain sunday it was 0% 3 days ago, so looks okay hopefully and we can record it then! My friend will let me use his gopro3 too

Looks like we might have a 20-30 mph headwind. Trap speeds are not going to be pretty.

I want to make it out to the track again. Probably next Saturday (the 16th). I want to try to get a baseline on my SS stock. Only problem is I don't have a helmet. I'm trying to find a friend who has one I can borrow locally.

Magnum, we meet each other there when I had my silver 1LS, and my brother was driving his blue Corolla XRS. His goal was to try to get to the magazine-reported time for his car (in other words, just work on technique and go for a hero run for that little car). He got pretty close, but the thing is he's hooked on drag racing now. He won't be buying a new car til the summer, so if we do make it out, I'll probably be a full 3-4 seconds ahead of him this time
