K&N Typhoon vs Aircharger
I'd like to know if anyone is aware of any sound difference between the two (K&N Typhoon vs Aircharger) on the 2013 V6 2LT RS, the performance difference appears to be about 4 HP apart favoring the Typhoon but I read on another thread that the Aircharger is actually about 10 horses more than the typhoon?
can someone settle this for me so I can just buy one already... K&N Link http://www.knfilters.com/search/apps...ro&engine=3.6L |

I have the air charger one. Works good and sounds good, never heard the Typhoon but I think the metal tube gets much hotter than the plastic tube, thus hotter air into your engine.
I went with the aircharger for that reason...

Good point, any idea why the site says the typhoon gets 4 more hp then if the air is heating up?

A good rule of thumb is to NEVER trust the manufacturers claims. They are almost always very high compared to real world tests.
