Fastest 'cam only' 1LE?

Does anyone know who has the fastest 'cam only' 1LE? I ran a 12.1 @ 116.6 today, and just curious where I stand. Thanks.

Have you checked the fast list? Most 1LE guys probably didn't choose the 1LE to drag race, so you'll probably have to compare to other SS's with similar mods.
By 'cam only', I assume you mean that's your only internal mod, as LT's, CAI, tune should be a given. Because who would install a cam with stock intake and exhaust, right?
To give you an idea, the slowest LS3 guy on the 'internal mod' fast list ran an 11.689 with cam, LT's, CAI, and tune:

For your motor specs, I'd think 12.16 would be a little slow. But I can see running any faster as a challenge without stiffer lower trailing arms and subframe bushings at least, and fussing with tire pressures a bit more or going drag radials.

I'd be more concerned with trap speed. With a cammed car I'd wouldn't be pleased unless I was trapping 118+mph.

Drag radials will get him in to the high 11 ' s.

Blake2010SS with cam only on that list did a 12.424 at 115.54mph. Isn't the 1LE going to be a bit slower because of the trans gearing and rear end combo vs the stock SS?

Not really. The final drive ratio is nearly the same for 1st gear, 2nd just a hair taller in the 1LE, 3rd is just a little shorter, and 4th is a good bit shorter. In actuality, stock for stock, the 1LE should be both a tad quicker to the finish line due to the shorter 3rd and 4th gear, and since the 1LE can do 140+ in 4th it's not going to run out of gear by the finish line and will be accelerating faster than an SS.

trans ratio final ratio
SS
1st: 3.01x3.45=10.39
2nd: 2.07x3.45=7.14
3rd: 1.43x3.45=4.93
4th:1.00:1, so 3.45 final drive
1LE
1st: 2.66x3.91=10.40
2nd: 1.78x3.91=6.96
3rd: 1.30x3.91=5.08
4th: 1.00:1, so 3.91 final drive

Majority of those are automatics, which are way better for drag. Plus the gearing on a standard SS are better for drag racing. I have to shift into 4th gear while a standard SS does not. My 3rd gear is only good to 109-110 and I trap 116-117.

Yes, 'cam only' means the only internal mod I have is the cam. I have headers and CAI also, but my heads, intake manifold are stock and unproved.

Your doing pretty good, I could only muster a 12.5 and other shop car ran 12.4-both on radials-then I went blower and got a lot faster.

What are you revving to? Before my head and cam job I was at the rev limiter right at 99-100mph in 3rd.
I understand your argument between ss/1le, but both cars well have to shift before they get to the finish line, so shift time loss is a given for both cars. And the guy I told you about that did 11's was an ls3(manual), so the automatic argument is invalid.
I'm sure you're biggest killer is tires and rear suspension - and of course shift technique. My biggest killer is the 1-2 shift. 2-3 is spot on so long as I get it right in, but 2nd, with its extra syncro, is very reluctant to slide in(before my trans fluid change to amsoil, anyway).
I've never missed a 3-4 shift, though, and it's so quick, I doubt an auto could do it much faster.

Reaction time has nothing to do with your ET.
