So I got a 15 2ss rs 1le and got a trade in offer of 22950. Seems kinda low. Car has 13k miles on it. What have you guys been getting for offers

Definitely sounds like a low offer, but shop around on price differences.

When I’ve traded cars in the past, (not the 1LE), I’ve found that dealers usually stay around $2k’ish trade offer pricing of one another.

I'm thinking about getteing rid of my 1LE also, but I ain't lettin' it go for $23000.

Sure would be hard to replace that for that kind of money. I think you have a fair starting price on it as is. See what happens for the next few weeks or so.

For a trade in offer, that’s fair. If you want the extra $2-3k you’ll have to sell it yourself.

My guess is full retail is around $25-26K. Sounds like the trade in offer was spot on. They arent in the business of buying for retail and selling for same or less.

That's exactly what I was thinking. You can find cars like that for around 25-26k so that actually seems like a very fair trade-in offer. I usually get lowballed a lot worse than that on trade-ins, which is why I have sold my last 3 cars myself. The only way I'd do a trade-in again is if I was in hurry to dump it before it explodes. lol

You have to remember if you're trading in a car to a dealer they're looking to get it at wholesale price. They're going to turn around and list it for $28k and take $24-$25k on it after it sits on the lot for a couple months. We're going into winter, sports cars sell worse when you're more likely to put it into a pole because of snow/ice. Since the 5th gen ended and the 6th gen started catching on the prices have been dropping like a rock.

When trying off to dealer, you are playing in their ball park. Have you tried selling it on your own? It might take some, but some time its worth it.
