Oh please, get over it. The '11 Mustang does out perform the Camaro under controlled professional testing. It is fact, it is not opinion or what you think is right. I love all 3, I personally like the styling of the Camaro the best and that's why its in my driveway.

Just because you like the Camaro doesn't make it better than the competition performance wise.

Who cares anyway. The SS has more power than the Mustang. Weight or gearing or a combo of the two is the very small difference. Bottom line is LS3 has 426 and 5.0 has 412 and that is what most people look at and the Camaro wins. So, na na na na boo boo.

Why r u mustang guys so mad? Stop bashing. I stated a fact. Most of them r mustang guys. Owns mustards they say it in the articles. Yes mustang probably a lil faster their best is I think 12.4 to our 12.5 so what. I like the mustang too. But I do have my opinions. U will never hear say the mustang sucks or it is slow but u mustang guys r jumping here bashing us Camaro guys. (yes there some Camaro douches on here that talk about mustang like it is a rusty civic but not most) can we adult convo with opinions without people getting panties in a bunch

I've mentioned it before.. I traded a 2010 Mustang Prem GT conv. with 1800 miles for a 2010 2SS/RS and 11,000 miles... I loved the stang, but wanted the "visual looks" of the ORANGE Camaro If I had the cash, I'd have both cars and a Challenger Come on guys! cars are cars! Love them all!!!

HERE ARE THE FACTS... Mercedez Benz designed this motor, not ford.

Modular Motor>Pushrod.... Ford engines have typically been built with higher quality parts. For example, a 4.6L 3V mustang engine has the bolt on ability to produce as much power, bolt on to bolt on as a 5.7L ls6. Due to low compression, and a strong rotaing assymbly. A blown stock bottom 4.6L 3v can make the same power, maybe more than a blown stock bottom Ls6. LS6 can only handle 7-10psi max.

We all know how much power a 4.6 4v DOHC cobra engine can make. At 281ci this motor was the craziest thing to hit the car market since the 426hemi.

Seriously? Yes, it was so welcomed by the Ford faithful, its been scrapped after a how many year run? Something tells me it was no where near as successful as the motor it replaced. First year the motor put out 225hp, last year it was rated at what? That's right 315hp/325tq


The holy grail ford motor, the 5.4L 4v DOHC GT500/GT powerplant is quite simply----THE MOST CAPABLE MASS PRODUCED ENGINE TO EVER HIT THE MARKET. THIS ENGINE, UNTOUCHED---CAN MAKE 1000+RWHP ON RACE GAS AND STAY TOGETHER, JUST ADD MASSIVE BOOST.

The 5.4 is a TRUCK motor. It was an after thought that they stuffed into the Mustang and slapped a SC on it. Same crap the did with the Ford GT (not the mustang version)

This was what put me over the edge with your idiotic rant. You will not see a 5.0 put down anywhere near 390rwhp with out LT's, a CAI and a tune, PERIOD! The motor isn't rated for enough HP to get those numbers to the ground. Please, edjamakated yous self before you make stupid comments like this.

I have a dyno graph of a 2011 WITH LT's and a CAI that just barely hit 390rwhp on the same dyno on the same day that my Camaro put down 412 with the exact same mods, by the same company, only WITHOUT a tune.


MAYBE I'LL JUMP IN MY CAMARO AND GO FIND A STANG TO BLOW OFF THE ROAD.... JUST NO (You should KNOW correct the correct version of the word too, but obviously you don't)... THAT WONT HAPPEN, YOU WILL LOSE HARD, AND BE EMBARRESSED, DONT DO IT!!! AT LEAST YOU CAN TAKE OUT A 4.6L 3V STANG BY A VERY NARROW NEGLIGABLE MARGIN. EVEN A 4.6 WOULD BE TOTALLY A DRIVERS RACE. BETTER FIND A STOCK FOXBODY TO BE SAFE, OR 2V...
