Waiting for white (question)
A dealer told me today they can order the white Camaro I want now and submit it to G.M. on "constraint". Another dealer tells me they cannot until its offically available. I want to order now but dont want the dealer to just sit on my order and deposit. My question is: Will G.M. accept my Summit white order now as the dealer is claiming, and build my car as soon as Summit white is put on line ? PS: they have A summit white Tahoe on the showroom floor- Believe me it's pure white, much whiter than my white Impala.

No there is no option for white in the system yet so the order can not be submitted as there is no option for white when you try to build one. They would not be able to give you an order # on a white car.

Thanks guys for the info re my white question- The dealer wants me to come in today and order with a $1,000.00 deposit. No way now. I agree he wants my $1,000.00 and the just string me along for months.

I know I have said this a million times but GM. They normally make more white when the end of a year or a model is coming. They have done that with y and f bodies in the past.
