Bump the limiter up to 7300 and let it go through in 4th.

I talked to the tuner about bumping it up but e said probably not a good idea in stock bottom end plus the power started falling pretty good about 6600. i may get a 15" conversion and bigger tires I'm looking to put a new trans in staying stick shift but looking at a Jerico or Gforce not sure how its going to work though I may have to go to a mechanical clutch set up and I don't know if I can get a z bar under the car

pro stock John I have my shift light at 6200 now I power shift so I leave a little bit of room because if I bump the limiter it cuts the fuel and the motor cuts out for a split second but it kills my times and consistency

7k on stock bottom end all day long...not sure why your tuner is overly concerned since the stock valve train(springs/push rods) are typically the limiter..my shift light set at 6500 but durin burnouts I have seen close to 8 couple of times...not a hickup...

I've been having the same nose dive about 10-20ft off the line. Added a launch controller and I am launching at 4000rpm. I have to try going a little higher next time??
It seems to bog and lose rpm, then picks up again.
Killing my 60ft time.
