Weapon X LT4 SC on Stock LT1

Hi all!

I'm new to FI, and this is the first car I've had that makes sense to supercharge and I've heard the LT4 from Weapon X is a good one for keeping my internal parts mostly stock. I have the following list planned to buy but wanted to know if I was missing anything else.

1.WEAPON-X: LT4 SUPERCHARGER CONVERSION
2.WEAPON-X: BIG GULP DI FUEL PACKAGE (Heard the LT1 HPFP/injectors don't give enough fuel)
3.Likely a new exhaust system down the line too.

Should I add anything to my list?

Yea don't do weaponx lol

I'd get a better supercharger if you're gonna boost your car. The LT4 is good but has its own problems. Namely heatsoak. You have a looooot of options for boosting.

And I’ll make number five in saying stay away from Weapon X. Terrible experience on more than one occasion for me.

There is another company selling LT4 conversion kits...LSA conversion store.

LT4 supercharger is fine for a LT1. You don't have to spin them as hard to make the same power as a LT4.

Also with current DI prices, The money you will spend on LT4 fueling will buy a TooHigh port setup.

Lots of bad experiences with Weapon X....... good to know. I am looking at this route myself.

This is the kit I used, no complaints. West Michigan automotive technology. It was $3000 last year. Now I see it went up to $4000 like everything else.

Seems like everyone think this isn't a good brand for a kit. Do you have any suggestions for another LT4 SC kit? Maybe one thats more complete too?

Yeah my problem is mostly not knowing everything I need. I have a decent idea of what I should get based on other forum posts, but so many contradicting opinions make it hard to navigate.

Does the 7.5k kit have everything I need? They say I need them to modify it more to actually use it. Do I actually need that? Or is it actually just plug n play with tune?

"On the Corvette LT4 supercharger you will be required to send the BLOWER INLET(Easily removed and shippable) to our facility for modifications to the shaft and hub boss."
