i think it's the fade part that really makes it look that way. it looks a lot better in person too.

i still plan on getting these ones too:

putting them on just next to the ones i have on now. it'll look like this, he's got both kinds on his car:

Love the faded decals on the gills! I have been on the fence with this part of the C5. I've seen the actual grills for that section and I've seen just plan decals like yours but not faded as yours are.
In fact I had the solid decals but I didn't care for the way the lined up at the top or bottom. Seemed like one end would be perfect but the other end would be somewhat canted. I decided on these which just seem to outline the back portion perfectly but still, they have such a hard line. Not sure if I'm going to stick with them though, though this was the first mod that I did to the car when I got it in Dec. Always a work in progress.

I like the faded ones better. ChevyG1rl has them on her transformers car and they look great now that all are full...

i think yours and mine together make it look really good. i was always on the fence too about them cause most just didn't look right. then i found the fade ones and when i saw someone put yours and mine together, that was it. that was the look i was going for.

Up until yesterday, I was on the fence about which ones to get as well, I put my order in for the shaded ones. I already installed the solid black lines, but after seeing the shades, I had to go for it.

I never thought about putting both kinds on though...

Theres a faded, 3-D one available, will have to look for the site again, but it looks amazing. Better then all the others I've seen. The 3D ones actually look real, when I first saw them, I thought the fender had been changed out for real ones. I saw it in person and actually had to bend over and look at it close to see that it was fake.
