For $4.2 mil Adam West should dress up, come to your house, and give you a lap dance.

That's almost infuriating. Imagine the good you could do with $4M.

$4.62 million with buyers commission. Didn't quite get the coin flip, when he did it he was the high bidder.

I'd pay 4.2 mil for the one from the dark knight maybe.....but the bike would have to come with it too.

+1,,,,, too much rational thought for the world there my friend. I'm trying to raise 200 bucks for a used iPad for my gf's autistic son. Really puts thing into perspective about what matters..............

I think that was the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Shocking to me that somebody would pay that much $ for something that ugly and useless.

Those George Barris creations are pretty cr@ppy. All look good on a TV camera but up close they are crudely finished.
Not bad money for foam, clay and bondo sculpture on an old Lincoln. Old George cashed in big time. |

Some if not all of the modifications to the Futura concept car that became the original Batmobile were done in metal by Bill Cushenbery.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batmobile "Barris hired Bill Cushenbery to do the metal modifications to the car and its conversion into the Batmobile was completed in just three weeks." More here: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/1955-lincoln-futura8.htm They did later us the original to make fiberglass molds to make several fiberglass replicas, but the origianal #1 car is metal. |
