Isn't it kind of funny that most 6thGen owners assume that 5thGen owners want a 6thGen? Anyways, it seems like both the 5th and 6thGen forums are full of trolls.

I don't think the release of the 6th gen has anything to do with the 5th gen portion of the site slowing down. I think it more to do with the time of year. Its winter and a lot of people aren't doing much their cars. When the weather warms up, people will be coming back.

If anything, the release of the 6th gen will probably increase the 5th gen site traffic. As prices of 5th gens go down, more people can afford them, then they'll eventually find their way here.

I ORDERED my 5th gen 1LE AFTER the 6th gen débuted.
I wanted to see what the 6th gen looked like before I pulled the trigger.

I'll admit that the 6th gen is a better car dynamically, but I just couldn't get past its looks. Too soft, generic, & foreign looking for me.

So I had the choice, and I chose 5th gen.

I would like to see them merge the "News" site into one homepage because I like seeing news for all three of their sites; Camaro5, Camaro6, and Corvette7. I think it would serve them better having it as one homepage with multiple forums.

the 5gen has that old school look to it... this is why people fell in love with it.. it brings you back in time.. chevy tried to strike lightning in a bottle again and did not accomplish it with the 6gen.. not saying i dont like it... but to me the only thing i like about it is the updated interior.. now if i can get the 5gen look with the 6gen interior i would be all over it... but i still do love my old school interior with the gauges...

That's what I've been doing. Straight to the forums. I have always thought that it would be awesome if I could get "Camaro of the week" but since they change it quarterly now, lol, my odds of winning have drastically gone down
