Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

I don't know why it matters, its the SAME car as the 05-09s, just a few different body panels and a nicer interior.

It's a very good upgrade on many levels considering Ford has not had any competition in this segment for a long time now. However they do plan on a revamp for 2011 model year since the Camaro will become evident to the public as the better choice for not that much more..
The V6 Mustang does get the GT's suspension which is a huge upgrade for the top seller V6...That I give Ford props since they really didn't have to do that and the car would sell the same and be cheaper...

I like the 2010 Mustang actually. Well not enough to buy one over the Camaro, but they did improve it. Especially the interior which I can actually say I like. The dash, steering wheel, and seats look great. Over-all it's definitely a better Mustang. They softened up the exterior to get away from that boxy retro look that looked good on the Mustang for about the first year it was out. Then it got boring fast from there.
All in all I like it.

It's good that they've made so many other improvements. Now let's hook them up to the new powertrains.

Hmmmmm a 0-60 time in 5.2 and 13.7 1/4 mile @ 103? Thats exactly what the current Stang does. Its also the same as Challenger R/T. The SS should manage a 0-60 of at least a half second quicker and do a sub 13 1/4 mile.
