We do not hope for improvements in handling. We build them in by design. The improvements will not be nice. The improvement will be dramatic. GUARANTEED

Trying not to build my expectations up too high and then BAM there they go

More progress - Harness anchors mounted to car, seat sleds for attaching seat, lots of Z/28 and 1LE suspension goodies going in, including Z/28 upper outer rear bushings (last pic).

Thanks man. Me too.

JusticePete's attitude is terrific - if they can't buy one, they'll make one

Just got back from a visit to see things first-hand, pick up some old pieces to sell off (curtain air bags, pfadt rear sway, proven wicked end links, and some electronics I won't be needing), and meet the team. Boy are those guys on top of their game. They are doing things based on their NASCAR experience that I didn't even know were possible. My LS7 is going to be a monster

They have re-mounted the seats on (ahem) proper steel sleds and I wanted to see how well I fit (perfectly). It's great to be able to see things happen in person from time to time.

Took some unusual shots just because once the car is back together I'll be amazed that it was ever this far apart:

Seat sled detail, aluminum battery holder (got rid of OEM because oil tank and battery will be sitting together down in wheel well), LS7 after some de-burring.

Today is prep day for painting interior on Monday. It's pretty much completely empty in there. Yellow interior just too reflective on inside of glass, too bright, too distracting. It'll all be painted flat black. In preparation, the seat sleds are being painted black.

Paint drying. JusticePete tells me they will finish the interior painting once the cage is installed.

Pistons shipped today. I think that's everything necessary for the engine build to start!
