tweeter placement assistance

I just bought a set of the focal 165 AS speakers and the tweeter is too big to fit in the factory tweeter plastic casing and the plastic casing that comes with it is way too large to even dremel out and fit in the factory location, is it ok to just hot glue the tweeter into the triangle housing and put dynamat or something behind it to hold it in place better or is this unsafe?

That looks awesome but slightly more fabrication involved than I trust myself doing lol. I had a hard time trusting myself to cut out the speaker brackets, don’t think cutting up my a-pillars are in my near future

Most aftermarket tweets wont fit there unless ultra tiny. use hotglue to hold them, and when you want to do more fabrication and move them, you can have them removed. easily pliable.

Does this look alright? Figured the foam would help just to be safe in case the glue didn’t hold, and it shouldn’t affect sound or get warm since there is no woofer correct?
