Ghost Flames or Graphics

I am planning on buying a 2012 Camaro and I want it to be a little different. I don't want to go with the racing stripes but rather ghost flames on the hood or Graphics. I can't really decide. I would also like to incorporate some pearl.
The reason I'm waiting for a 2012 is that I'm hoping for some new colors and a upgraded interior and maybe a back up camera and side view mirrors that warn of blind spots.
I'll be getting a 2LT,RS,auto and sunroof. more than likely a grey interior or if available something like the N M Convertable interior.

Any thoughts? Colors I'm hoping for would be a forrest green, a new medium blue or some kind of gold/yellow gold. last option would be white.

Got a 2011 SS/RS in white with orange stripes, this spring I'm doing a "Real Flame" job on black pearl soot base all in House of Color. Will take about 3 weeks to complete and will post photo's once done. Can't wait for warmer weather

If you are going for ghost flames, make sure you pick a good color. I have seen some that are so subtle, they are barely visible, even if you know it's there.

Thus the name- GHOST FLAMES! Actually ghost flames are starting to die off as do most trends in the custom painting world but if you like them who cares about trends.

I have a Black LT and while it was in the body shop getting a little bumper repair done I had them do a ghost stripe. I went over the full hood scoop just overlapping onto to the bumper following the body line. I also had it measured out width wise and carried it onto the trunk lid. I went with a blue pearl mixed in with a clear coat. Sprayed a couple coats then re-cleared the whole hood and decklid. Looks geat now that it's done subtle looking at it one way the POPS in the sun. Got two estimates first was for 650.00 but I got another one to do it for 500.00 plus the 1200.00 in bumper damage.

I can recommend a top notch painter to do graphics if your interested. He is really easy to work with and will help you design exactly what you want. It took us almost 4 months to come up with my scheme but well worth the time. Especially when it is gonna be painted on you want to make 100% sure its right.
