I called a shop and asked for a labor price on installing bmr 1 springs front and rear sway bar and end links for the front and rear and I was quoted 8 hour labor and with alignment it would be $855 do this sound about right? if there anybody in Ga that can do it cheaper let me know

I'm not sure what book time is on the springs and sway bars, but they can be easily done in half a day. Someone familiar can do the swap in under 3 hrs, and setting the alignment is usually very simple.

I had Hotchkis 1" springs, Pfadt ZLspec front and rear sways with front and rear end links installed and an aligned for $600 by a reputable Camaro shop. I see you have a 2010 and I am wondering if you are upgrading to the FE4 rear control arms with a FE4 rear bar. Would the installation of the new rear control arms be included in the price?

I had Pfadt sways, lower springs and endlinks installed took about 4 hours for the install. Then took another like 3 to 4 hours for the alignment. I payed more way more than your quote but the work was outstanding. So for me that quote sounds correct.

It took me 4 hours to install springs, LCA's and sway bars+ 1.5-2 hrs for the alignment yesterday at my father in laws's shop in Buckhead. If you'd like I'll see if he's interested in doing another and get you a quote- just send me a pm.

That does seem a little pricey, if I had to guess it would probably take an experienced shop 4-6 hours to install the parts and another hour or so on the alignment rack. Maybe get another couple quotes from some other reputable places and see how they compare.

Yeah sounds a bit steep. Not way off but it shouldn't cost quite that much. I would shop around a bit more.

Seeing these prices makes me really happy that I decided to install my own lowering springs! My only cost ended up being $150 to time the bushings and an alignment. I would probably have paid a lot more since I have the mag ride and the plugs have to be disassembled on the rears.

What part of Georgia are you from? I may know of a couple places, not performance shops, but shops that can get the job done.
