Sucks to see him go but 16 mil a year for a corner is ridiculous. Granted his contract isn't guarenteed but if he is back to form next year watch the hold out in 2014

My take on the Jets is it's going to take a few years to clear up the salary cap issues they currently have. Getting rid of Revis will help, however I don't think he's the reason they are in this mess.

Then again, I don't hear all the internal workings of the Jet's out here...just seems they put their hand in with Sanchez, and couldn't find a way to back out from that gracefully, and it's cost them a lot of money for a buttfumble.

The jets will be out of this mess next year. When they can cut Sanchez, Holmes, and possibly Harris. They could have afforded revis next year but 16 mil for a corner is ridiculous. They need to rebuild and wouldn't surprise me one bit of they traded the number 9 pick Vikings for their first round pick(s)

If I read correctly, none of it is guaranteed money. That makes the contract much more palatable as they can basically cut him anytime they feel it isn't working out or he is not playing up to his contract. My understanding of NFL contracts is weak, but at least that's my interpretation.

As for Milliner lasting to them at 9? Doubt it...

Milliner would be a mistake.

Yes the entire co tract is not guaranteed but what about next year if he is back to form and he holds out in 2014 for the guarenteed dollars. So it's could also blow up in their faces

Hell no to geno!

If they keep both the number 9 pick and number 13 I see mingo and Austin!

I think they will trade one of the picks though to Minnesota possibly. I know they really like tavon Austin and have expressed interest in moving up.

Miami was looking at Brandon albert, tackle for KC, but asking price is too high. chargers are now looking at him.
