$182 vs $338 msrp.
If it were even halfway in between, but almost double? I tend to order online; oh and the counter guy is very rude when you hesitate or ask about their full msrp's.
Have you looked at the shipping prices. Makes up for the discount.

$27 shipping to me on that part. It is a consideration and I prefer to support local business when I can but I won't be bent over any longer by them.
For example I just ordered a pair of front wheel bearings from Rock Auto. Able to choose good quality Timken bearings at a low price.

Notice bouncy back when starting this season a month ago, put on the lift and both had a dusty slightly moist film on the lower strut, but no leaking like I have seen on fronts. At a Cars an coffee event this morning I had a chance to ask a few friends to let me bounce the rears with the truck open, and that confirmed they are definitely gone. 16780 miles..

The interesting fact is GM/AC Delco just moved to a Unlimited Life time Warranty on these struts purchased after 4-1-2018.. They clearly noted only 12 months on any purchase before 4-1-2018.
I smell an improved strut..

My rear ones were blown at about 50k. I got them replaced at a shop I'm friends with the owner at in town. Do the fronts also typically wear out that quick? Debating whether I should have them do the fronts at some point in the near future as I won't have the same hookup in a few months and don't want to pay the dam dealer to do it. They seem fine now, but I know as soon as my hookup is gone they'll blow out cuz thats my luck. What have you all typically got out of the fronts? I have 53k miles currently.

Did they at least make these where you can replace them without needing an alignment afterwards?

That isnt a thing.

If you replace a strut, you really should put it on the rack to verify the alignment.

Yes, the GM procedure for the fronts has an indicated ares to highlight or scribe with a marker on the ARM so you may put it back in the exact position. It has worked perfectly for me. The rears you don't touch any of the concentrics so you are good.

I do the same when changing them. Just hoping maybe this design was different...
