can you get a 2SS with a V6 engine?
well the title says it.. is it possible to downgrade to a v6 if you buy a 2SS, and will it make the overall price cheaper? thanks

You take a 2LT and slap some SS badges on the front and back. Also modify the V6 engine cover to look like the SS engine cover. Finally get some SS floor mats and do the mod to display the SS insignia inside your car. You get the SS for $5,000 cheaper. |

It isn't an SS without a V8.
If you just want your car to say SS you could just rice it out.

The good news is that the 2LT is basically the exact same car as the 2SS, only w/ the V6 and a different 6 speed tranny. There are other minor changes, but for all practical purposes, they are identical other than the powertrain and brakes. And they're about 7k cheaper I think.
