Can't freakin hold back anymore!!! : First post

Hello Everyone, this is my first post and I can't hold back any longer. I will more than likely place my order for a 2010 Camaro 2SS/ RS SIM w/ black hockey stick package. First I have something to clear up.

I am considering ordering my Camaro w/ sunroof (My wife really wants it). I have heard that there is a little less headroom in Camaros w/ sunroof. I have also heard just the opposite from a salesperson at the local Stealership.

I am 6'3" and this will be a very important decision. I would appreciate any help you guys can offer.

Also wanted to say that this is an awesome site w/ tons of info.
I have watched this site for several months now and finally broke down and registered. Thanks again.

I heard there is like 1/2 of an inch less headroom with the sunroof.

It depends how your built with your height more than anything. i would sit in both and mess with the seat if at all possible just to be safe.

Dude... I'm 6'0" and in my opinion I need the extra headroom that a non-sunroof provides... depends on how much you like to tilt the seat back. I also prefer the reverse mohawk look on top instead of a smooth top. And I have had sunroofs in my last 3 cars.

Your salseperson obviously doesn't have a clue....

I'm 6'4" and I've sat in both with and without sunroofs. You will be comfortable in both. The seat really adjusts and you should have no problem finding a comfortable position.

I ordered without the sunroof because I wanted the extra headroom and I think the outside of the roof looks better without it. But that's just IMHO.

I do recommend trying to sit in one or both configurations before your car is built if at all possible.

Yeah Dude, The Salesperson seemed really goofy. He quoted me a couple other things about the car that I knew was obviously mis-information. Plus he gave me a F@#king price of $40K before taxes.

I was planning on ordering from a totally different Stealership anyway.

I did sit in a sunroof car and had to adjust the seat almost all the way to the floor. However, I have not had the opp to sit in a Mowhawk Car.

I am 6' and with my driving position I can not do a sunroof. Head is smashed into the roof. Without, I have no problems. Plus the wife wanted the reverse mohawk and she didn't like the black rectangle on the roof of the silver car.

BTW... great color/stripe combo!
