What I miss most from Chicago is the gyros on practically every corner and Barnelli's. On my experience, the best burritos come from Chipotle and El Mezcal (Lawrence, Kansas).

Thanks for all the replies! we're leaving wed around noon (trying to get hubby to not go to work for the morn). We live literally on 55, can see the highway from my front window. We were just hoping to meet up with someone, more than one is fun! Went to indy with Deke 736 and his bunch last year, did you see all the heads turning? Thinking we'll make it to Hope,AK for the night.

Well, there WERE some of us coming from Chicagoland, but due to one thing or another (Life, I guess you'd call it) It doesn't look like there will be a Chicago contingent this year. :( Please represent us Illinoisans proudly!!

The SICC boys hope to be rolling out from Glen Carbon (25 miles out of StL) around 9:00AM Wednesday. My Cell is (618)407-5349 if anyone is close. Not really sure how far we're going the first day. We're hoping to pick up more along the way. Thanks, Darren
