Steeringwheel with led display

Hi I bought the steering wheel in the picture it works with a OBD blue tooth connector and only needs 12 volt behind the airbag, problem is as soon as I connect the display to 12 volts voltage drops to 3 volt or zero volts, I tried all the 12 volt connections available in all three plugs, is there a solution for this?
Edit: when I connect it to the cigarette lighter it works great, but this makes steering a little difficult

They're made for the 2016+ Camaro. The instructions for installation on those, are
to use the two pin plug, with a brown wire, and a blue wire. Power for the device
goes to the brown wire. The ground from the device goes to the blue wire.

My guess is:
The GEN5s, do not have enough AMPS to run it, which power comes from the BCM.
12V power for the wheel is on a 2AMP fuse. So, when you connect that to a 12V
source at the wheel, the load is to high, so the BCM shuts it down. If it were a dead
short, the 2A fuse would blow.

What BRAND name is that one? Vicrez, is for 2016+
