OE Boston Acoustic 2 way speaker connector

The OE Boston Acoustic Parcel shelf speaker has a mid-bass channel (2 wire) and a high channel (2 wire) for a total 4 wire connections per speaker. To successfully replace the factory 6x9 you must get bi-amp speakers. Bi-amp speakers have to separate sets of terminals. First terminal set (2 wire) feeds the woofer and second terminal set (2wire) feeds the tweeter. The factory male connection plug at the end of the speaker harness has the four wires and attaches directly to the speaker. The factory speaker has the 'female' portion of the connection plug molded into the speaker's frame.

Bi- amp speaker can be had from suppliers like Kicker Q-Class 44QSC694, Sony XSGS6921, Massive Audio P69X and others. (I am replacing my stock speakers with a pair of used Lanzer brand CX69.3, bi-amp speakers I found on eBay UK.)

If we can identify the correct female-end connector that mates to the factory harness male-end connector we can make a quick disconnect set-up like the factory. Does anyone know what female plug we need to buy that fits into the factory stock female-end plug?

You do not "NEED" to get Bi-Amp speakers. You can run without the HI, or wire the HI
side to a separate tweeter. If you happen to get a speaker out warning without using
the HI side, then put a 2-ohm or 4-ohm resister across the HI leads.

I used that kit to connect all of my aftermarket speakers. They do the job quite well.
