So i'm happy to say that today the highspeed vibration has been FIXED!!! Thanks everyone for the input and you're all gonna kill me when you find out what the problem was... Tire balance. The shop i've been going to for 17 years swears their machine was good, then it broke. I believe back when that happened they had already balanced with that machine so they were using some weird thing hooked up to a compressor that you lay the wheel/tire on it's side and it shows if its completely balanced or not. I'm by no means a wheel/tire expert so i thought he knew what he was doing. I even bought factory wheels to test and switched the tires from front to back so I thought I covered all my bases. I should have read the other threads started about this because there are a few that went thru what i did, got balanced 2-3 times at the same place then when they went to another place, BAM! problem solved. Granted those threads were from 2013-2016ish but in the end they were correct.

I took it on the freeway and highspeed vibration is gone, but high speed 55ish+ braking is a little touchy. It could be because i found that the passenger side lower 14mm caliper bolt was umm completely missing 2 nights ago. I replaced it with a new one and even after the balance i fill a little pulsation at high speeds, but nothing like it was before. I wonder if i caused any uneven wear on the pads/rotors in driving without that bolt for 100-1200miles. I know i didn't leave it off, just wondering how the hell it coulda came loose. Checked the other 3 and they are all on tight. I'll double check things tomorrow but i think everything is working fine. Even the tierod ends seem ok when I pulled them off the knuckle. would like a tighter steering feel though, so they might be replaced and an alignment could be in order. Any other suggestions for tighter steering please chime in!

Never trust a tire shop to have balanced the tires correctly. It seems like I have trouble about half of the time.

Sounds like it's time to start the Z-28 suspension upgrade path.

lol as soon as I read the title I thought tire balance. many tire shops are too lazy or incompetent to do it right.

Yea, i agree however this guy has installed countless pairs of tires for me and never once have I had any issues. I guess next time I'll find a new shop, however he is buying a new tire balancer this week so who knows. You get what you pay for right?
