Chevrolet just doesn't get steering wheels. When the C6 Corvette came out, the steering wheel was a clear abomination. Then they changed it to a Pontiac wheel, which was an improvement. I don't know that Chevy improved the Camaro's steering wheel at all. They would have been better off using the Vette's wheel.
Overall, the interior is improved. I guess this is the "Significantly reworked interior" that was announced last April. Gauges, center AC vent, Passenger dash all look better. Would have liked to have seen a nicer, less gimmicky head unit with electronic climate control and non-loop door handles in an aluminum finish. |

The suede has got to go... and the steering wheel.... WTF happened there?? The current interior is awesome, I think if we had different color options to choose from, the current interior would go right on for a few more years without any noticable changes.

The suede on the dash is not something I would go for. I think I'll stick to the plastic on my 2010 in that regards. The guages look pretty nice from what I can see. I don't like the steering wheel.

Overall it looks better. Wish they'd kept the old gauges and steering wheel though.

Don't like the steering wheel or the shift knob. I like the Alcantara treatments thought.

To me it's not much different than the current other than it's got a leather insert on it. The Steering wheel looks like something a jap ricer car would have in it, but yeah otherwise it looks nice.

I wonder if we will be able to retrofit the new cluster into the '10 and '11 cars? Also, I wonder if Boost will be displayed in the H.U.D. and if so, can the current H.U.D.s be retro-programmed (if that's a word) to display boost?

Steering looks out of style for this car. I like gauge cluster and suede. Have to see it in person for final opinion

on the interior. Don't like the suede (talk about a dust collector), and that steering wheel, what were they thinking...I guess they weren't. You may call it a suede steering wheel, but it's nothing but sponge, and I hope that's not the steering wheel of the future. I did like it, when I saw it in the cruse, it suits that car, but not here.
Thank you Chevrolet for ALL the design flaws, especially on the ZL1, it just made my SS increase in value.

The dash looks nice but the steering wheel looks cheap.
