Talking 1000rwhp LSA Engine for Sale!

I hope to have my new engine done soon. So I need to sell my current LSA engine. Yep, the one I just dyno'd. I have a spreadsheet with all the parts installed and if you read through my journal you know how I built it.

Engine complete less, headers, starter, alternator, a/c pump, clutch and ECU.

I will make a video of it running and get another Blackstone oil analysis report before pulling the engine.

ANYONE INTERESTED? PM ME WITH AN OFFER!

Impressive stuff man. What do you do for a living that you can rebuild an entire engine in your living room? Lol

Hey Vic,
I have a similar indicator light on my dash, but I used an mini LED volt meter in parallel with the secondary pump. There is some voltage drop on the volt meter from the pump to my dash, but it was there from when I had my BAP so I used it.
It'll be on an upcoming video I think.

Installed a shorter belt

Installed a 1/2" shorter supercharger drive belt. So should take care of the belt slippage issue.
The 3rd fuel pump will be controlled by a 5psi hobbs switch.
I made a 4 relay control panel and a switch panel for the aft cup holder for testing the fuel pumps.

Wiring done

Well, I finally felt well enough to work on my Camaro. I was able to get the relays, hobbs switch and switch panel installed.
The fuel lines, pump and filters are next.

The all Camaro car show is in a couple weeks, hope to have everything done and the car detailed.

3rd fuel pump

The 3rd fuel pump is in with 2 fuel filters, check valve and fuel regulator. What a pain in the butt! Feed lines and fittings are 10an, all pressure lines and fittings from the OEM pump and 3rd fuel pump are 8an. The fuel line that runs up by the header is wrapped in a high temp silicone and fiberglass sleeve. All parts and hoses under the car are supported by adel clamps and H/D heat shrink tubing. I put torque stripe on all the joints, will help finding loose fittings in future. All fasteners installed with rivnuts and sealed with silicone where needed.

So far run up to 70psi and nothing I installed is leaking.

But, the OEM plastic fitting cracked on me, I guess they really are fragile. So now I have ordered parts to do a repair / upgrade to the output fitting. So after the car show will pull the oem fuel pump when the parts arrive...

This is my outside shop... The Camaro will not fit in the living room...

See for type of repair:

Also a Thank You to my friend FasNuf for the fuel pressure fitting size!

Still awaiting 2 parts for the fuel pump repair. Made some shields out of sheets of stainless steel for under the car to protect the boost pump. Put one under the driver's side to keep air flow under the car somewhat even. Added an extention panel and a reinforcement bar / debris deflector to the front side of both panels.
The fuel tubing I received was the wrong parts, should get the correct ones soon.
Drilled out the cracked fitting and installed the new -6an fitting. Used my hand held milling device to remove the required material. I did not use nylon washers, I did use fuel tank seal to make it leak proof.
Back together and installed. No more fuel leak.
I am debating whether to put it on the dyno again... The short comings from the last dyno have been fixed!

Cool START OVER

So after talking to a good friend Mark here on the forums (https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=608033)
I have decided to remove the 3 fuel pumps and install the Holley 450lph dual in tank fuel pump system. So I have to rework the relays and fuel lines and add a return line, I will use the oem metal fuel line for the return.

I would've used the OEM setting of 58psi but my injectors are slightly too big on 93 to idle the way I want. I found it has better control of AFR with a lower base pressure.

I'm also on a fully mechanical regulator. My FPCM is only working to supply the fuel pressure reading from the sensor.

Hey Mark,
Would it be possible to get a current copy of your tune? I want to see the changes you made to the FSCM. Holley request that I use a different poWer wire for the relays, not the green/white wire. Figured I would use the FSCM power wire from the trunk fuse block think it is wire #12.

Thanks!

Thanks for the info! I have decided to replace the 3 fuel pumps with the Holley 450lph dual set up, ordered today. So I will be selling off the Livernois and Holley pumps soon.

Found this web site:
https://fuse-box.info/chevrolet/chev...uses-and-relay
It has great info for fuses.

Sure thing Vic. I sent it to the Gmail that I had last used for you.

As said in the email, I'm not sure why Holley would tell you not to use the Grn/Wht wire. It's the wire the FPCM uses to control the OEM fuel relay.

For those that don't know, The Grn/Wht wire is a timed circuit. It powers up for 2 seconds when you first turn the key on, then it goes in standby. When you crank the engine it powers again and will stay powered when the engine is running. This has advantages and disadvantages as one could figure out.
The 2 second time is adjustable in the tune using HP Tuners... FUEL SYSTEM>FUEL PUMP>PRIME TIME.
You might need the license for the FPCM to change but I cant remember.

The Grn/Wht wire is found in the bundle that connects to the FPCM under the passenger rear quarter interior panel.

The 2 second prime time is in the engine management section under fuel management I believe I have mine set for 6 seconds.

Thank you for the email! Does the green/white wire run back to the trunk? Getting to the FSCM under the rear seat quarter panel is almost impossible for me with the roll bar installed.
Yes, I had to use a licence to edit the FPCM. I re-watched your videos for your fuel system install, helps allot!

I think it goes there in the trunk but I’ll have to look in the Manual when I get home tonight.
