Tire setup

Can the 2 rear tires be rotated side to side only in the back left rear to right rear ? Planning on putting 245 In the front

Not if they are directional tires.

the stock tires are NON-Directional......however, the fronts and rears are different sizes.. but can you "rotate" the tires "right to left" (side to side) the answer is YES.

Just to be sure, take a look at the sidewall of the tire.
If there is an arrow, then it's a 'directional' tire and cannot be swapped to the other side of the car.

However odds are as Sir Nuke pointed out, the stock tires on your SS are non-directional and can be swapped from side to side.

the stock pirellis are non directional, but there is an outside which should be noticed when mounting. you can switch left to right.

I never agreed with tire rotation anyway. in the 80's and 90's GM front end alignment didn't last long and the front tires would wear poorly. I used to get about 25k out of front tires. rotating the tires would give you 4 bad tires in about 40k. without rotating I got 70k out of the rears and just replaced the fronts when needed. worked out better economically not even counting the cost of having it done. just a thought

Lol on my car it’s the exact opposite for SOME reason…. Rears last about 15-20k max and the fronts are made of indestructium
