Tire setup
Can the 2 rear tires be rotated side to side only in the back left rear to right rear ? Planning on putting 245 In the front

Not if they are directional tires.

the stock tires are NON-Directional......however, the fronts and rears are different sizes.. but can you "rotate" the tires "right to left" (side to side) the answer is YES.

Just to be sure, take a look at the sidewall of the tire.
If there is an arrow, then it's a 'directional' tire and cannot be swapped to the other side of the car. However odds are as Sir Nuke pointed out, the stock tires on your SS are non-directional and can be swapped from side to side. |

the stock pirellis are non directional, but there is an outside which should be noticed when mounting. you can switch left to right.

bought a set of coopers at 27,000 miles where the p zeros were done.coopers are still good at 72,000 miles and never been rotated.

I never agreed with tire rotation anyway. in the 80's and 90's GM front end alignment didn't last long and the front tires would wear poorly. I used to get about 25k out of front tires. rotating the tires would give you 4 bad tires in about 40k. without rotating I got 70k out of the rears and just replaced the fronts when needed. worked out better economically not even counting the cost of having it done. just a thought
