I am wanting to get mine done asap. I have stock everything lol as far as muffler and headers. I was watching videos on how a muffler delete works and what it consist of, thats when I came across that video. So I was stocked that it might be something that simple and cost a lot less!

Mine is a manual. I hadn't considered the muffler delete option but it sounds like I might need to. Is there any drone or popping issues with a delete?

It was actually one of the first things I had done on the car lol...so maybe back in March?
I think mine is the right volume, it isn't too loud and it sounds like a beast when I hit the throttle
But then again even if it were louder that wouldn't bother me at all lol

The muffler delete sounds good with the stock cats/resonators as well as being relatively cheap.

BTW, in that video, he does have the mufflers cut out. Those valves must be specific to the autos though. My manual didn't have them and it's a 2011. It's a later 2011 as well so maybe that's the difference.

Any exhaust will get you decel popping. The cause is in the stock tune. There is very light drone around 1800-2200rpm. Very bearable as long as you have the stock manifolds and cats in. If you upgrade to longtubes or delete the cats, the drone will be terribile between 1800-2200rpm. I believe the car should have come from the factory sounding like the muffler delete. For the cost, you cannot beat it.

Jax Camaro 5 end of year cruise / BBQ

OK Gang...

here's what I'm thinking...

I'd like to get as many of us together as possible for a BBQ / Cruise down at my place. Don't worry about food and drinks, I think I have that all covered.

I'd like to do it while the weather is nice at our amenities center and go for a cruise down 16/13 along the Saint John's river.

I'm thinking we can meet up early, say around 10:00 am, go for a cruise then come back for a little meet n greet and some eats... I'm thinking hot dogs and Hamburgers??? chips and dips???

I don't really have a date in mind, My wife's schedule is kinda screwy but I wanted to throw it out there so we can pick a date that will work for the largest number of us.

I'm thinking we have enough to feed as many as 40 or so... so don't worry about bringing the wives and kids... there should be plenty for every one.

what do you guys think?

GTAHVIT that sounds cool! Im down. Also, if anyone is interested this weekend is the airshow that includes the blue angles. NAS JAX is open to the public those two days. Its really cool if you havent gone before. It would be cool if we could all meet off base and cruise on base together, and all of use park together. Just a thought.

Its free by the way

You and your family should come to the airshow on Saturday! The kids would love it. They can see and go inside all the planes and watch the main show...Blue Angels! I would be more than willing to help you get on base! We could cruise in together. Let me know. Here is my number: 256-312-1887

I've been attending the show for the last few years.. even knowing that all traffic off I295 will use the first NAS entrance and you can wait there for an hour or so just to enter ... while at the same time, if you drive past all these cars and utilize the second NAS entrance (by Target), the wait is 2-3 minutes

This Saturday, we are going to a friend's house by the Beaches and watching the show while we swim
