How did you gouge the bottom up? Looks like the top on floor jack is not flat.

Here is a look at what it should look like on the jack. We do recommend the jack have a flat top, if not then you will have to use a spacer.
obviously that is how I intended to use the jack pad. My jack looks similar to yours on top and I will send you a pic. Sometimes I have had to jack on unlevel ground or rough pavement and that is why it looks as it does. Not everywhere is a smooth/perfect garage floor...lol! I have used it 30+ times at many different places.

That's fine, we can send a new bottom for you. No charge to you.

You do not leave the pad on while driving, right?

lol...I'm not that stupid! I have used it on my 2013 GMC Acadia also for a tire rotation but it was already tattered before that.

We do not have to be stupid to leave on while driving, I have forgot to remove one on my car. Others have also lost them by leaving them on.

Look fantastic... could you please PM me a quote? Thanks. I believe that my jack is not perfectly flat (dished slightly), so I guess I would need a bottom plate as well?

If we get a order we do not email, your items went out same day as the order.
If you buy from the site or Amazon, you will get a confirmation

You just need a spacer made of anything you have around. Some jacks may not need a spacer. The bottom base is only on the Universal, not needed on the heavy use.

Many owners think that the pinch weld jack points are made to lift the car up by the upper floor pan, by cradling around the pinch weld. NOT TRUE. If you look at the stock jack of the Camaro and other cars, you will see that the jack lifts the car up by the BOTTOM of the pinch weld. That's why we lift a unibody car up by the pinch weld and not bend the single metal of the floor pan. Also if your pinch welds are not covered by a rocker cover, than you do not need jack pads at all, just use a jack. But some jacks may scratch the paint, so the pads help. The pinch weld is many pieces of metal spot welded to make a strong lift point.

The pic shows the standard jack pad, the inner leg does NOT touch the floor pan. It is longer to hold the magnet. This pad can only let the car up at a small angle, so better to use the heavy use pad and not snap the leg off.

Tiled garage floor! You savage! Joys of living in California I suppose. I 'd love to do that cuz it looks sweet! Too bad it just would not stand up to the punishing salt, gravel and punishing climate here in the winter. Tile on any concrete here would just pop and crack with the seasonal movement.
