Custom Center Caps Arrived
I've been enjoying my Forgeline MD3P's for a while now, but I've been waiting for the custom center caps I ordered at the same time. They finally showed up today. I hope to get them on the wheels this weekend, but for now here's some of just the caps. What do you think?

You'll notice the design isn't exactly the same as the official SS logo. This is due to license/copyright issues. I think they did a great job making a design that's just different enough to avoid that problem. I've thought of inlaying the SS with red enamel, but I kinda like the subtleness as-is. They cost $100 each, and Forgeline subbed them out. Don't know if they will fit the stock wheels or not.

Wow, very nice and close enough to the trademark "SS" design... There was a thread last year of bunches of folks looking for center caps but no one made them..
But, at $100 each ($400 set), gonna miss a lot of the market out there. Looks very sharp - I would paint mine though and those babies would "pop".. Great mod.. |

They are costly, but that is because Forgeline also doesn't want to make these. They build their current billet caps in orders of 100s, these 1-set specials are costly and time consuming for them. These will not fit factory wheels, he has some nice Forgeline 3-piece wheels that I sold to him
