Where is the Gas Tank/Trunk Release at?

Does anyone have pics of the gas tank and trunk release buttons in the interior? I see a small button on the driver's door....

Odds are the fuel door doesn't have a release. That seems to be a trend these days.

The small button on the driver's door is the trunk release.

The fuel door is a push-in to release, push-in to lock type deal. Kind of like the glass doors on an entertainment center in your living room.

For the gas cap, you just push in, and it pop's open. No idea about the trunk release though.

^^ i was too slow.

Ok, cool, my Toyota, has a little lever I pull up next to the trunk release and I haven't seen this in any of the pics. I wonder if they will make a locking gas cap to keep the bad folks (envious drivers) from tainting my gas tank?

If it's like our G8, when you lock the car a pin on the inside of the gas cap comes out and locks the gas cap shut.

Wow, that's actually really cool.... I knew it was a push in to release kinda thing, but i was worried that just anyone could come up and mess with your tank... Definitely really cool, hope the camaro has something similar.

It isn't like the G8. There is no locking feature on the Camaro. Push/Push is like the G8 though.

The reason GM doesn't do the fuel release doors in many cars is because that little lock wont keep anyone out. All they are going to do is take a screwdriver and gouge the quarter panel and pry it open anyways. So why be out of gas and need a paint job?

I was planning on getting a stant locking gas cap. They are about $10 bucks (a lot cheaper then the chrome locking doors), plus I wanted the paint matching door anyways.
