I know Camaro5 alone can't but with so many car clubs and such in the state...I'd think there would be more than enough support!!

Heck yes, Heck yes, i'm in Law Enforcement and we never look at the front license plate. When you run a license plate your behind the vehicle, never in the front. I really hope this law passes.

I've dug through the site and can't find an area to comment, but it does list the bill author......Mike Jackson. We could write him in support....maybe it'd help.

How many times has it been tried to get this signed into law in Texas? It fails every time for some insane reason. Maybe this time it will pass (crosses fingers).

Just in case, I'm installing my front plate in such a way that I can remove it at a later date without leaving a sign that it was there at all. Now I just need my car so I can figure out how I want to do it.

I've always heard that traffic cops use the license plate to bounce the laser off of, and if you don't have it, then they get pissy. Any truth to that?

I'm betting that it passes, if for no other reason just for the fact that it'll save them money on front plates! (cuz you know the price of registration wont go down!). All the front plate is, is another reason to get a ticket if the cop doesn't like you!
