New! Heavy use magnetic JACK PAD!

We now have the prototype made of the heavy use magnetic jack pad.

They are made of aluminum and will fit all late model Camaro's including the Convertible.

See here. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...39#post7113539

How much? And do they stay in place on the car or do we move it around to each side?

Yes they stay in place with the embedded magnets! I can not show price at this thread. I will have the prices up on the tools and suspension sponsor area. Not much more than the original mag jack pads.

Do these have any potential for scratching?

That's a nice tool right there!
When initially jacking up my '14 I noticed the jack had very little room before the arm hits the under side of the ZL side skirts. This would stop that problem.

Looks like I'm going to need to upgrade mine. Just the other day I was thinking these would be better in Aluminum.

The aluminum ones are for like a shop or someone that use the every day. No need if you do not jack your car up every day.

Only the bottom of the pinch weld, that is why our original ones we still make and are made of plastic.

How powerful is the magnet? Could they be left on permanently?

We will make a deal anyone who has the standard jack pad.

The reason we make it, is because members have asked for a more robust pad.

I my self use the plastic jack pad.

We have found on the later Camaros, the pinch weld is getting wider and some owner want to jack the car up at a extreme angle, I myself do not like to do that.

One thing is that the heavy use mag jack pad works on the Camaro, Challenger, Ford Focus. One other difference is it picks the car up by the bottom of the pinch weld only, just like the in car jack does, if we had one.
