All Black Camaro ZL1

Hey guys, this is my first post on this site. I currently own a '03 Porsche 911 that I am selling next week. Looking for a Camaro, this one is at the top of my list....

Few questions:

- Is this particular car overpriced?

- How does the automatic drive? My current Porsche is a stick.

- Are all the options stock on this car? Like Carbon Fiber hood etc.

Good looking car. Are you interested in it because it's all black because in my limited knowledge it's stock. I've seen better modified ones for the same price on eBay. Congrats on some muscle!

Good choise of car. You could look at the dealers in the area. for options and prices

IMO, the definition of ZL1 is manual transmission. Coming from a 911, I would look for stick.
Pricing is an emotion, especially with a ZL1.

The car appears to be stock other than the blacked out taillights and chevy emblems. Some ZL1's came with what they call ECF (exposed carbon fiber) hood insert, which is what that one has.

I would say that price is a tad bit high personally, you could probably get it for a few thousand less.

I haven't driven the automatic so I can't really give you any feedback on that.

Just a guess but I think you'll be disapointed in going to an automatic...as I said, just a guess.

Upflying: Yeah I do wish this car was in stick, but the look got me hooked.

What would a fair price be? Like Upflying said, pricing is emotional sometimes.

I paid that for mine new...although it has the auto which is 2k more. My opinion would be $50k at the top end, but its just my opinion...

That is a sharp car. The black bowties and blacked out tail lights are not stock, but most everything else appears stock. I can comment on driving the auto, but it is claimed to be a bit faster and more consistent at the track. The price is very very close to new price so I would try to really negotiate that down.

Hard to tell from the pictures does the car have a sun roof? If not it appears that the only options on the car is the automatic and ECF hood insert.

A new '14 with the same spec would be $60,435

When brand new a '13 would have costed $58,135 (with the current $1500 cash back offer on a '13)

If the car has a sunroof then add $900.00 to those prices.

BTW I did a quick search on Chevy.com (ZIP 33308) for new '13 ZL1 in black and there are three in stock. Two manuals and one auto.

The cheapest is 56,420 and the most expensive was 58,930 which was the auto.

I would check them out too. I tinted my side markers and tail lights with headlight armor and I think it was $70.00. I blacked out my bowties for like $10. Window tint is $300 for a real good job in my area. So the car is not insanely priced but not too far off retail new 2013.... which there are some still around.

Price is always flexible!! However I have driven both an auto and a manual. By far the manual makes the car feel much better. Plus weight saving and it is only a 1/10 of a second slower.

if you want to track the car go auto they are way more constant then a manuel......

I HAVE A 2013 VERT AUTO BLACK ON BLACK. I LIKE THE AUTO AROUND TOWN AND AT THE TRACK. PADDLE SHIFTING IS FUN AND FOR THE 1/4 MILE I JUST LEAVE IT IN S MODE AS THE COMPUTER CAN SHIFT FASTER THAN I CAN. BEST TIME SO FAR AT A MILE HIGH IS 11.77 @ 118.59MPH.
PRICE IS HIGH I AGREE THAT @ $50K WOULD BE FAIR OR SPRING FOR A NEW ONE FOR $56-60K

Leather, standard
Automatic, optional + higher gas guzzeler tax
Exposed carbon fiber insert, optional

Painted Carbon fiber hood insert, standard
all hood inserts are carbon fiber.
