Starting my 4th winter with Bridgestone Blizzaks, have had no problems whatsoever drives and handles great in snow, ice whatever mother nature wants to throw at it.

The Generals don't stand a chance in this weather. I run them in the summer but when it gets cold with as much power as there is in an SS even they will spin. Pretty sure everyone up here is either running either Blizzaks or the Snow and Ice tires made by Pirelli. Even with the winters some conditions are still no fun (for the first time in 3 winters driving a Camaro I needed a push last night )

looks like that was on the deerfoot by any chance? I work in the NE and SE Calgary and sometimes downtown. But I bought a winter car and decided not to drive the camaro in the winter any more. Even with winter tires its all over the place.

Oh and where's our chinook dammit!!!

Stoney trail heading west towards COP, I work downtown. I hate deerfoot and avoid it. I've got the blizzaks, they've been good so far. If there's a really bad day, the hubby bought a minivan....bwahaha....I'll take that and leave the car at home. We live in a cul de sac and the snow can get pretty deep, worried about pulling the front end off plowing through it.

Chinooks seem to be farther and farther apart...

The push sucks! Glad you got er out! First winter with this car, but I've turned around and gone home in other cars when the roads are bad, or left my car in a parking lot, sometimes it just doesn't matter what you drive, it's not worth being out.

drive carefully out there. it is supposed to go to +20 here tomoroow. probably wait another couple of weeks for the snows. I have Toyo Proxi 4 right now. will go with Pirelli winters for the winter though.

It's often below 20 degrees here in the summer, let alone winter. I guess Pzeros aren't a very good tire for my car, period.

I think that's 20f, not 20c which would be -6 to -7 celcius. My tires were fine at at 1-2c, then it snowed and dropped below 0. I think in Victoria you should be ok with your pzeros! Have you taken your car out to Tofino? That would be a fun drive in the summer with the camaro!

Just bought my 2012 45th anniversary edition! Another girl driving a camaro, here in Ottawa. The Pirelli Scorpions go on next week-end.

Wish I was driving up to Tofino, and all the way up to to the top end of the island. I love that part of the world.
