I don't think they will. the exhaust companies have 2014 specific part numbers.

this is one of those projects that people will want to do becaue for some reason they think the z/28 parts are the new coolaid but they would be much happier with stainless works headers and the regular camaro NPP.

what I just posted will cost less, bolt right in, make more power, and it sound better.

And require a tune, voiding a warranty and not being able to reliably pass emissions without replacing the cats that are known to fail with boost...

Maybe the Z28 headers are a good compromise for roughly the same price?

How about we stay on topic and discuss long tube header options in the other 100 threads about those?

you want to stay emisions legal and make the most power just run the ARH shorties. they are expensive but not more money than buying thes oem tri-y's, connection pipe, and 2.75 exhaust ifyou want to just bolt in.

I stick to my previous comment. by the time this job is done you will have spent more money that a simple drop in solution and make no more power than the drop in solutions.

someone is welcome to spend all the money and dyno time to prove me wrong though but I think they will just prove me right.

Has anyone installed these yet?

Do they require a tune?

Thanks

If your worried about voiding warranty don't mod your ZL1 or get JRE 75rwhp No Tune Kit.

Hmm, so after spending all those $$ you are still running the factory cats? They are the cork in the bottle.

What choice is their if the aftermarket cats will not hold up to blown application and he needs to keep it quiet?

actaully the factory cats hold up better than some of the aftermaket I am told.

people have survived track days with them and many people have burned up aftermaket versions quickly.

Not sure if the ZL1 cats are as resrictive as the SS cats, but a major portion of the gain by adding LTs to an SS is from removing the factory cats. It must be possilbe to built cats that can hold up to FI. Check out this thread:

Already done. How is that relevant to the topic?
