The SS front fascia is $265 from Dave Hiller at Newman Chevrolet (where CamaroScotty works) so I'd assume that the V6 is about the same. You can contact Dave @ dhiller@north2newman.com.

I see the fascia pretty reasonable on Ebay. painting and swapping if you know a good shop would not be bad. Under $500 (good guess) from a shop I use

I would try hard, hitting up the V6 members on this site to see if any of them want to do a swap with you. I'd say you have a good chance of finding a taker.....maybe you'll get really lucky and find a summit white V6 car!

Double check how hard you drive your car. There is a reson why the lower grill opening is larger on the V8 front fascia. If you go to a V6 you will have less airflow. Just a caution.

I am going to be getting a carbon fiber hood with ram air and heat extraction. I don't like the look of two scoops

You could always just get the mailslot filled. But that might end up being more expensive than just buying a new bumper.

Also like the idea of proposing a swap with a forum member. I imagine some of the V6ers would like a mailslot

Good choice. I think most aftermarket hoods look better without the mail slot.

Someone on these boards will probably swap you straight up.
