Need advice on 77 purchase
Hello all,
I "know a guy" who has a '77 Camaro in his yard that's been there for 15 years. He says it ran when he parked it but hasn't driven it and it doesn't run now. I'm in Albuquerque so it shouldn't be rusty or anything. It's real dry here. If anything the interior may be all dried up. He doesn't have the money to fix it up so he may sell it. It apparently has some aftermarket stuff on it from the 70s so it wouldn't be original but the aftermarket stuff wouldn't be worth much now I imagine. He isn't necessarily in the market to get rid of it but he may part with it for me. I have no idea how much this car would be worth in it's current tow away condition. Can anyone on the boards give me some advice on it's potential value? Thanks muscle

cant tell you how much its worth until we can get some pics or more info about the car. what kind of engine? tranny? z28? get some pics of the interior and engine bay and what not.

Check the rear subframe and trunk carefully. They are notorious for rot there on 2nd gens.

Check under carpet, there could be a spot of rust there also.
