Stabilitrak, traction control lights on

Question for everyone. I just installed my 4.11 gears. After the install, my stabilitrak lights turned on traction. I checked the wheel sensors and they are fine. Has this happened to anyone else?

You need to tune the car with the gear change.

If you pull the codes, you will probably get a P0219 Engine Overspeed code.

The TCM monitors the engine speed over the CAN bus. If the engine speed is greater
than a calibrated limit, the TCM assumes that either the information from the
Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is incorrect or that a major mechanical problem
exists. That, would be the gear ratio changed the RPMs expected in that gear.
You've added more than 300 RPMs in each gear, which is out of parameter.

We're to guess you have an Automatic? I was told by SOME people that
you do not need to tune the new gear ratio in for standard transmission
cars. If you have a standard, then, well, that's not true, it is?

I have a 6 speed manual transmission. From what I was reading only automatics need to do the tune. Manual should have only effected my speedometer so I would need it recalibrated. The thing is the dash lights all turned on before I even drove the car. I took the car to a mechanic shop and they tested my abs sensors on the wheels and they were ok. So now I am wondering what else it might be.

They should have pulled the codes while you were there. You will have codes
stored.
